Carrie Coltman

Carrie Coltman has over twenty-nine years experience in the field of leadership and organizational development. For the past decade she has run the Palo Alto Learning Group, an independent boutique consulting firm specializing in executive coaching, leadership, team and organization development. Previously, she was a Principal with the Tom Peters Group/Learning Systems, a Senior Associate with Interaction Associates and a Regional Manager for BlessingWhite. Having served consulting organizations for 14 years, she joined Adobe Systems where she started Adobe’s first Organization Development function and eventually headed up Executive Development, working with the top 1% of the company. She is certified in several leadership development instruments including the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI), the PDI Profilor, and the Lominger Voices 360 leadership assessment. She also co-authored a Coaching Behaviors assessment that was used in the Leader as Coach workshop. She is also certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the Strengths Deployment Inventory, and Team Effectiveness Systems. Carrie has her undergraduate degree from UCLA and a masters degree in Organization Development. She has served as a visiting lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and she has her Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) from New Ventures West. She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and two teenage daughters.
