Welcome to the Center for Scholars & Storytellers website, the home of research insights dedicated to helping the next generation thrive and grow by providing helpful resources for storytellers (the “Service”). The Center for Scholars & Storytellers website is provided and owned by the Center for Scholars & Storytellers. By accessing and using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms of Service”) and our Privacy Policy. 

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

You may not access our search engine by using any bot, script, code or other automatic device. You may not aggregate our search results with any other search engine or present our search results as being provided by anyone other than us.  

Unless otherwise specified in writing as to specific materials, all material on our site or that it accessed through our site, including, but not limited to article, images, photographs, graphics and audio and/or video materials, is protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other rights which are owned and/or controlled by us or our affiliates, or by other parties that have licensed their material to us or that we have a right to access under applicable law. Unauthorized use or modification of the materials is a violation of the Federal copyright and trademark laws and other proprietary rights.

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms. SECTION 15 - GOVERNING LAW/ARBITRATION
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the state of California.  All disputes between us shall be exclusively resolved by arbitration in Los Angeles, California under the rules of JAMS. You hereby irrevocably agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such arbitration. You waive any right to seek relief through a class action.

We respect the rights of all copyright holders and in this regard, we have adopted and implemented a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of subscribers and account holders who infringe the rights of copyright holders.
