Dr. Jennifer E. Turner

Dr. Jennifer E. Turner is a seasoned media executive and CEO of THE MAD COOL COMPANY. Formerly, she served as Sony Pictures Television’s SVP of Scripted Programming, overseeing creative on hit series such as "The Good Doctor," "The Boys," and "The Blacklist." Prior to this role, in 2008 Jennifer Turner was named Vice President, Licensing and Strategic Partnerships, Bravo Media, Oxygen Media in New York. In 2006 Jennifer was named Vice President at Universal Media Studios in Los Angeles where she developed new drama series and managed creative for critically acclaimed drama series “Friday Night Lights” and “Crossing Jordan.” Jennifer was named Cablefax’s “Most Influential Minorities in Cable” 2009, 2011, and 2012, and was featured in Variety’s Inclusion Impact Report 2019. Jennifer combined her passion for fitness with her media background to found edutainment brand MAD COOL FITNESS, LLC., an inclusive healthy lifestyle brand that helps people to achieve long-term good health through behavior science-based programs. Jennifer also founded non-profit MAD COOL COMMUNITY, Inc. to deliver behavior science-based wellness programs to underserved communities. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Public Health from Rutgers School of Public Health, a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University, a Bachelor of Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Japanese Language from the University of Pennsylvania.
