Rachel Fleischer

Rachel Fleischer is a seasoned non-profit leader, strategist, and storyteller, with more than 2 decades of experience building advocacy and public awareness campaigns. Most recently, Fleischer was Executive Director of Young Invincibles, where she significantly expanded the organization's brand, consumer education, and young adult engagement programs. Prior to that role, Fleischer served Senior Director at Planned Parenthood Federation of America - where she led some of Planned Parenthood’s largest health care and advocacy efforts, including the 2017 campaign to defeat congressional “defund” efforts, the organization’s consumer education program around the Affordable Care Act, the launch of Planned Parenthood’s breast health initiative, and Planned Parenthood’s 100th anniversary celebration. She also managed the Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s Independent Expenditure communications work during the 2012 Presidential campaign.Prior to her work at Planned Parenthood, Rachel oversaw numerous issue-based advocacy and communications efforts for a range of foundations, non-profit organizations, and political candidates at two award-winning consulting firms — Behr Communications and GMMB. Fleischer lives in Washington DC with her husband Lucas and their two boys, Sam and Miles. She hails from South Jersey — and is proud of it.
